 Moving to the Area
« Thread Started on Jul 13, 2007, 7:19am »

Hi,

I am moving to the area on 15/07, and would like to come down to have a look round with a view to membership.

I have been sailing since doing my dinghy cert in 1984 and was hooked immediately. I now am actively promote and enable disabled people sail anyone from people new to sailing through to very competent sailor's who have recently become disabled.

I spend a lot of time working with Derbyshire Sailing Endeavour and Carsington Sailability at Carsington Sailing Club.

I regularly launch/rig/crew/helm/de-rig/recover and not so ofter repair (more often than i like though!!!)

Teliga 21, Sailfish 18, Drascombe, Sqibb, Sunbird, 2.4, Access (single, twin and liberty)

I also have a Pb cert so i do my bit once or twice a week with the safety boat .

Having said all that some days i take a step back and it all looks like a episode of last of the summer wine!!!!!

Hope to see you soon
